A Visual Journey
Lewis Zammit – Born January 1971
Commenced Visual Art studies in 1986 under the supervision of the internationally acclaimed artist Alfred Chircop. In 1998, completed with distinction a Diploma course in painting at the Malta School of Art. He was rewarded for first in course and Minister’s Prize for developing an intensely personal idiom in Fine Arts.
In 1998 completed a Bachelor’s Honours degree in History of Art, and in 2003 Master’s degree in History of Art at the University of Malta.

Exhibited works at the Museum of Fine Arts, Valletta; St. James Cavalier, Valletta; The Grand Salon, Museum of Archaeology, Valletta; The Palace, Sliema; Societa’ Filarmonica La Vittoria, Mellieha; Mdina Cathedral Museum, The Phoenicia, Malta, and The University of Malta. Participated in various local and national artistic events. His works can be found at various local public and personal collections as well as in England, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxemburg, Netherlands, France, the USA and Australia.
Presently working as a Visual Art Educator at St. Michael Foundation, San Gwann.
